The performance of the URouter and shared UServers has been improved for database, file, activation and resource requests. It is recommended that both client installations and server installations are upgraded at the same time because the URouter now handles usernames differently than before. Because of this client applications that are not upgraded cannot benefit fully from this performance improvement but only partially. In addition, shared UServers started on behalf of an upgraded client application are not shared by client applications that are not upgraded.
