Have been running for many days in this environment without an issue and suddenly today at about midday 9D11. Have restored and still get the same.

When you say "restored" does that mean you have re-run the script that loads the lock tables on the database?

Have you set the following config variable in your runtime configuration file?

A_MSSQL_LOCK_DB
