    Hy...

    does anyone use SNMP to monitor d3 in linux ?

    to monitor memory use, disk use and other things...

    if yes... how ?

    I've installed mutt in the past, and used it from Pick code to send e-mails.  It can even receive e-mails, provided your security constraints allow.  You can even e-mail to the sms gateway in order to send text messages.

    as far as I know d3 does not have any snmp available.  You could use snmp to monitor your linux machine itself.  We have written a basic program that will return d3 statistics via a mvconnect api call.  Will use that data in a php dashboard and in grafana to help keep an eye on things.  We also use Nagios to monitor system availability.

    Yes !! its like something like that i was thinking to use...

    zabbix and grafana 

    i'm looking at syschk 

    and to use it to extract data from d3, to make it avaliable for snmp
