Hi. Below is the version of our product. Are we allowed to use the Rocket MV Basic in the Visual Studio Code to compile the program?Secondly. i try to enter the following infomartion in MV basic,  what is the account name mentioned below  Current Configuration PRODUCT EDITION

From V6 onwards, ZBNKPRT2.cbl was used in conjunction with the EBC.BANK10.DAT data file, with a structure file created and the associated .str file used to access and read the data.Could you please confirm whether this will be included in the current repository, or if an alternative program can be modified to showcase the Data File Editor?Please advise.

This release includes ports of two new tools, Py4J, and Python-confluent-kafka, and version currency updates for cURL, Git, Less, and Nano, as well as an extensive list of security fixes and other fixes for many other ports. For customers on a support contract, these latest builds are already available via conda or SMP/E. Hello,We have a DSP that allows us to send emails using the Graph API. To use this API, we use the ‘msal.js’ library, which allows us to connect to our Microsoft account before sending emails.After the first connection to the Microsoft account, we use the ‘msalInstance.getAllAccounts()’ method, which retrieves the Microsoft connected user from the cache. This is essential for sending several emails in succession.This DSP is used in a form through a DSPContainer, and it works very well.Our problem is as follows: after each application restart, we have to re-enter our credentials: the ‘msalInstance.getAllAccounts()’ method has forgotten everything. As long as the application is not restarted, this method remembers the logged-in user.Do you know if it is possible to have a persistent cache after closing? Hi,I develop solutions using SB+ and there are some common variables which are imported into just about every BASIC program that I have. We currently have a native COBOL application that uses dynamic SQL (via OpenESQL) to fetch, insert and update into Microsoft SQL.This includes varbinary(max) columns which we have working and I suspect it was based on the demo which was available from this link https://community.rocketsoftware.com/rocket-visual-cobol-28/demo-using-the-varbinary-max-column-type-from-cobol-4560. Hello,I would like to report an issue that we have seen with this recent update to 2.8.0 version. We use Online editing mode provided by Rocket MV Basic Extension to connect to our development server and make coding changes. After the update, it seems like the existing online editing mode connection is NOT working and is NOT able to detect .rmvonline folder of existing setup.I have to reset my online editing workspace and make a fresh configuration file (servers.mvbasic.json). After this it is able to connect and work properly. Could you please confirm if this is an expected behavior for people working in Online Editing mode to work as mentioned or if this is a known issue in version 2.8.0? If this is an issue, is there any other recommend workaround or possible fix anticipated?Thanks,Sunny Garg

As I sit here waiting for another Windows update for our MVS Toolkit, I wonder again, and I do mean again, why there is no Linux version for this part of the tool. We stopped using MS Windows over 20 years ago, but had to go and get  a licence and set up vm server to run Windows so that we could interface with the web. Where have all our problems been? On the Windows server. Now if there was a Linux version available, we may have had to set up a vm anyway, but it would have worked a lot better and saved a lot of technician time.

We have a cash register program that prints directly to a receipt printer via LPT1.One of our customers do not have their printer setup that way, and it was working for them for years, and then all of a sudden, it stopped.  Here is what the customer has said about their setup in our support ticket: “These are IP-based Star sp712 printers that are designed to be plugged into the network (not a USB or LPT port).  Initially, we had the receipts printing and the cash drawer opening but there is something wonky in the cash register app related to if a user has the option for printer selection enabled.  Once a user with that option tries to print it boogers up the computer for all users in that when they attempt to print, it will open the drawer but not actually print.  Meanwhile, we can use a legit program like notepad or Word and it prints and opens the drawer properly.We went to another PC not at the counter and got that to work and also confirmed on both that it w

I’m playing around with the vs code plug-in and have noticed some VERY odd behaviors.I’m using version 11.1.0 of the plug-in and version 10.4 of RDOi.When I right click on an item in the subset filter and select Create, it submits the compile job but I get a “davidg8 check job or spooled file failed. (Internal error).” message.  A “Error: (SSH) Channel open failure: open failed” message shows up in the output tab of the console. After that message shows up, the PRTFCREATE spool file is displayed but flickers.  If I close the terminal window, the terminal window reappears with the same spool file.  This happens for a while until it finally stops.  I tried to upload a screen capture, but the forum software won’t let me.

This makes it necessary to load dependencies manually before running D3_setup.
