AcuServer is installed on a sbs server. This is at first time done by extern server control using a client station. From this moment this is the only station and only user where acuserver connections works. Then we uninstalled it at and installed it again (directly on the server station) as administrator. Again the acuserver tool shows acuserver is online, however, running a cobol program (directly on the server station and as administrator), it will not connect to acuserver. Trace show nothing reach acuserver. It still only work on the client by wich it was installed earlier and only with that user. Using an ip address to access the files (instead of dns) doesn?t make any change.

Although I know this information is limited, perhaps someone has an idea where to look for.

Thanks Ed.

First thing I would try is to turn of any firewalls, to see if it makes a difference.
