Hi,Hopefully someone can help or shed some light on this for me please.
We have a customer who requires cash drawers for a trade counter.
We've made amendments to our software to open the cash drawer and they work fine.
Basically the cash drawer has a Y cable, one end goes to the parallel port on the PC, the other end goes to the printer.
You then print to the printer and send a hex '07'
The problem is basically as follows.
If the cash drawer is linked to a dot matrix printer the drawer will open fine when we trigger it.
If the cash drawer is linked to a laser jet printer it will not open?
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Shaun
