Please, could you clarify me the following doubt(s)?

From Product Support Lifecycle for ChangeMan ZMF v8.2 product, the Current Maintenance End Date is now 30 Sep 2025.

On the other hand, in the platform matrix document for each patch release for this version shows Operating system platform supported.

For instance, z/OS 2.5 is supported for ChangeMan ZMF v8.2 patch 06 but I am not sure if this Changeman version is/will be supported in z/OS 3.1

Since the Current Maintenance End Date is now 30 Sep 2025, how can I know if I need to upgrade my ChangeMan ZMF v8.2 if the z/OS is upgraded (for instance, from z/OS 2.5 to z/OS 3.1)?.

Apparently, now I would not need to upgrade my ChangeMan v8.2 version. isn't like that?

(Well, it is always advisable to ask to support before making a change of this caliber).

Hi Manuel, 

Please note, ChangeMan ZMF 8.2.6 is not the current patch version. The latest version is 8.2.7. With respect to z/OS 3.1, we are targeting ChangeMan ZMF 8.3.1 to support the z/OS 3.1 platform as part of the GA release for 8.3.1 (without the need for a Hot Fix). Initially we targeted Q1, but this looks to slip to Q2. In addition, we plan to also add support for z/OS 3.1 with ChangeMan ZMF 8.2.7 (likely as a Hot Fix) and this will happen post the release of 8.3.1. We will not be offering support for 8.2.6 since that's an old patch release and is not current. For 8.2.7, our goal is to avoid having to issue a new patch, such as 8.2.8 and add z/OS 3.1 as part of a Hot Fix (if needed) to 8.2.7.
