Details:
We are running ChangeMan ZMF R5.3. We had integrated CA JCLCheck 7.0 to be part of the ChangeMan process. I am in the process of upgrading JCLCheck to V7.1. I am having problems because of a major re-write of parts of JCLCheck.
I am trying to find out if anyone has integrated ChangeMan ZMF with CA JCLCheck and if so, what JCLCheck options they are using.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I have contacted CA. I was told that an overhaul of JCLCheck was done for V7.1. They suggested that I change one of my options for JCLCheck from NOAUTOPROC to AUTOPROC. AUTOPROC resolves the PROCLIBs as defined to JES2.
Do other Serena customers using JCLCheck use the option AUTOPROC or NOAUTOPROC?
I am looking to find how other customers are integrating the two products. Any help is appreciated

When I search our database for AUTOPROC and NOAUTOPROC, I only get a hit on your previous case with Don. Sorry!

Other Serena customers have JCLCheck setup in various ways, but I was not able to find any specific versions listed. I would suggest that you contact CA and explain to them what you need. They should be able to tell you how to make Version 7.1 behave in a similar fashion to 7.0.

There are two ways that I know of to integrate a JCL checker with ChangeMan ZMF. It can be integrateed into the JCL Staging skels, or into the audit skels. Arguements can be made for either. My preference is the audit skels. That way the JCL does not get checked until all the changes are done to both the JCL and PROCs. The audit can can be done with different arguements for JCL than for PROCs. You want to be sure to pickup PROCs that are in the package prior to those in baseline when you scan for JCL.
