How to default 'Journal Images' to *BOTH when deploy a new table via Aldon

In terms of 'Journal Images' configuration as following screenshot, I have following queries:

1. How Aldon defaults 'Journal Images' parameter when AS400 files/tables deployed to production? 
2. If we use CHGJRNOBJ to change 'Journal Images' from *AFTER to *BOTH, is there any impact to the system?

Can you please confirm the product that we're working with?  I'd like more details prior to checking in on alternatives to our default options.

You appear to not be using our default journals and I cannot quite make it out from the screenshot dspfd without at least an obj name or lib.
