 Hi,

We are trying to use Rumba 9.1 for screen scraping. We are trying to use a node js process to invoke rumba and do the screen scraping. However, I  am not able to start Rumba from the command line. Could someone let me know how to start Rumba from the command line, as well, as how to make the node js process read and write through Rumba?

Thanks

Hi,
If possible to move to newer Rumba version it will be very simple on your end using COM objects
Rumba 9.5 have ability to expose COM API's that you can use from Excel or any other COM enabled client.
Regarding NodeJS you can use Win32OLE package - see this one helloacm.com/.../

If you are unable to upgrade to Rumba 9.5 I will try to think on other ways but those will be much harder...

Hi,
you can start Rumba from the command line by using RumbaPage.exe <path>\\<session_desktop_profile>.

As described by AdiA your best bet would be to use the RUMBA COM API´s.
Not only faster, the COM API´s makes it easier to handle the host synchronization.
