Hello,
We have a user that upgraded to Microsoft Office 64 Bit. Now they cannot Open or Create any .bvp file. They also cannot record a new macro.
Do they require 64 bit Rocket as well?
Thanks!

It sounds like the 32-bit MS Office uninstall removed a common MS VBA component needed by 32-bit Rocket TE VBA. I would recommend to uninstall and reinstall 32-bit Rocket TE VBA should resolve the issue. However, if you need to load BlueZone objects in 64-bit MS Office VBA macros, using Excel or Access, then you will also need to switch to 64-bit Rocket TE and 64-bit Rocket TE VBA.
Thanks,
Mike

I get the frustration of dealing with VBA issues after upgrading to Office 64-bit. A lot of the time, it’s about compatibility—64-bit versions can sometimes cause problems with older code or references that weren’t built for the new setup. One thing that helped me when I faced similar issues was ensuring all the libraries were referenced adequately in your VBA project. You can check them by visiting Tools > References in the VBA editor. If some libraries aren’t available, you may need to install or update them to the 64-bit version. Also, if you’re working with date, it’s good to know how to separate date and time in excel them easily using formulas or custom formatting. If that’s part of your code, you might want to ensure you're not using outdated functions that could be tripping you up.
