I have an Access application I inherited that uses the WdMfDsp.ocx to get data from Rumba.

After we upgraded to Windows 7, we are now getting an error

"A license is not available at this time. general license error occurred - 2"

followed by

"the operation on the Objectx Mainframe display control object failed. The OLE server may not be registered."

We are running the "Micro Focus Rumba client 6.7"

and I do have the "Objectx Mainframe display control" referenced in the VBA project.

I noticed it is a 32 bit version is the a 64 bit version?

Hi Bod,

you mention you are using 6.7, are we talking about Web to Host 6.7 or you you have the full Windows Rumba application installed? There are known issues attempting to host the Web to Host ActiveX control in application such as MS Access or MS Excel. If you are using Web to Host then you should contact Supportline. If you are using the full blown Rumba windows application then you should upgrade to a supported version of Rumba.
