I see the latest version of cURL in Conda/AppDev is 7.73.  Are there plans to roll out 7.75 in the near future? Some of our App. Developers are requesting cURL 7.75 for a connection from the zSeries to AWS in the cloud.Thank You,Ross Vaughn

Hi,(Apologies if this is a duplicate I seem to be having trouble posting)Can someone point me to the doc on how to specify my credentials in miniconda? If I issue a conda command I getCondaHTTPError: HTTP 401 UNAUTHORIZED for url <https://condaserver.rocketsoftware.com/api/repo/zoss-appdev/noarch/repodata.json> I'm pretty sure I have a support account, but haven't figured out how to specify my credentials.I've seen the previous post about the 401 error, suggesting using a different channel, but with my firewall already configured for condaserver I thought I would try and use this channel. Thanks!Jeff A

Dear Rocket Community,i got a quick usage question regarding git-2.26.2-pl524_78 and i hope u guys can enlighten me.I`ve "installed" git-2.26.2-pl524_78 and its dependencies (bash-4.3.48-2, gzip-1.9-4, perl-5.24.4-4) into userspace under USS (OS/390 TEST 26.00 04 8561) and also set some environment variables like:export GIT_SHELL=$HOME/rocket/bin/bashexport GIT_EXEC_PATH=$HOME/rocket/libexec/git-coreexport GIT_TEMPLATE_DIR=$HOME/rocket/share/git-core/templatesexport PATH=$PATH:$HOME/rocket/binexport MANPATH=$MANPATH:$HOME/rocket/man/export _CEE_RUNOPTS="FILETAG(AUTOCVT,AUTOTAG) POSIX(ON)"export _BPXK_AUTOCVT=ONexport _TAG_REDIR_ERR=txtexport _TAG_REDIR_IN=txtexport _TAG_REDIR_OUT=txtexport _ENCODE_FILE_NEW=IBM-1047export _ENCODE_FILE_EXISTING=IBM-1047The git client and bash seem to work fine. Now i was under the assumption that checked out repositorys (ISO-8859-1 or UTF-8) are automatically converted to local codepage IBM-1047. That does not happen somehow. Files are still in the remote

Hello,I am posting this on behalf of one of our users, git doesn't seem to work when specifying an absolute path that is a symlink, i.e /tmp: git clone git@github.ibm.com:zostools/tnz /tmp/xxxxxx-tnzfatal: More than 32 nested symlinks on path '/tmp/xxxxxx-tnz'  but when specifying the relative path it works: git clone git@github.ibm.com:zostools/tnz xxxxxx-tnzCloning into 'xxxxxx-tnz'...remote: Enumerating objects: 1189, done.remote: Total 1189 (delta 0), reused 0 (delta 0), pack-reused 1189Receiving objects: 100% (1189/1189), 1.31 MiB | 14.28 MiB/s, done.Resolving deltas: 100% (848/848), done. Hello,I would like to upgrade our existing curl installation (installed from the pre-conda channel). Our problem now is that I couldn't use our mainframe internet connection for using a public or secure conda channel to transfer the software. So my question is: Is it possible to transfer the zos-z/curl-7.73.0-0.tar.bz2 file from Files :: Anaconda.org  and use this as a file channel for conda install - -file ... and do I specify this file directly in this command? Thanks in advance for any help.Kind regards.Juergen

HelloIt looks like Git environment variables which are set by default miniconda installation don't exist:GIT_EXEC_PATH=/conda_dir/libexec/git-coreGIT_TEMPLATE_DIR=/conda_dir/share/git-core/templatesbut we have it in Git pkgs directory:GIT_EXEC_PATH=/conda_dir/pkgs/git-2.26.2-pl524_78/libexec/git-coreGIT_TEMPLATE_DIR=/conda_dir/pkgs/git-2.26.2-pl524_78/share/git-core/templatesWhat are the best practices for this?Do we need to set up this variables manually to pkgs directories or create empty directories in conda_dir?RegardsDarek

Hi All,One of our z/OS customer plans to replace PKZIP for z/OS with another product. Can we use zip / Unzip, which is among the free products of Rocket Software, instead of PKZIP for z/OS?Does anyone have any comments or suggestions about this?Best Regards.Bulent.

Due to the way Rocket have decided to add shebangs to the top of Python scripts (wrongly in my opinion but that's another story) I have tried to re-install miniconda.  During the initial install it asked for the location of Python, however, on the re-install it doesn't and uses the original value supplied. How to I change that initial value?

I have to access the internet via a proxy server.  What/how can this be specified inside conda?  I know the .condarc file contains the channel URL to which I have already arranged access.

Hello! We just upgraded to a new version of python on Z using mini-conda. It worked great. The only issue we have is that pip doesn't seem to be included in the new install.  Is that correct? Is it hiding elsewhere or is this a DIY kind of thing where we'll have to download from elsewhere and install?  Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!!

I was asked to post this issue instead of IBM sales from Taiwan, anyone can help on it ? My environment is z/OS 2.3 with IBM Apache HTTP Server (Version 9).  I installed the latest version of PHP (7.0.5) using Rocket's Miniconda package manager. I tested it from the OMVS Shell and it works fine. I queried it for the version it is currently and it comes back with the correct response (7.0.1) and so on and so forth. The trouble I am having is getting to connect to PHP from the HTTP Server. I am new to PHP and I tried to understand from the distributed world on how the two are paired together, i.e. Apache Server and PHP. It seems to be fairly straight forward in that world. There seem to be two ways of invoking PHP with Apache (1) PHP as Dynamic Shared Object (DSO) application and the other as Common Gateway Interface (CGI).  The recommended way seems to be the DSO.  To go the DSO way some directives in Apache need to be set like the LoadModule Directive which looks like LoadModule php5_module /usr/local/apache/lib/lipphp5.so But I can't seem to find any m
