Hi,

I guess the purpose of change_pwd_perl.sh is to change the path to perl in scipts like c2ph:

Ƥ/rsusr/rocket/bin/perl

To the path where I installed perl?

But change_pwd_perl.sh has this:

total_path="/rocket"

So the shebang will still hold /rsusr, right?

Same may be for

findutils_checking.sh
checking.sh of diffutils

Or have I misunderstood something?

Hi Morten,

could you provide an info about the perl installer/archive/etc you got perl from? We need perl version and build number to check the exact package for the problem.
The same about the rest of scripts - please provide package name/version/build_number for each of them.

Hi,

It's here perl-5.24.0_b007.180202.tar, downloaded the "old" way. We will probably go the conda way, so unless the same problem is there also, don't put too much effort in this.

Hi, Morten! It is worse to mention that we don't support archives. Instead we use miniconda for installing packages and perl is one of them that can be installed that way.
Have you found a solution?
