Ya'll,

Running 10.03 directly on the box where it's installed works fine.
Trying to run from a client - license not available.

Using the same .asn file with the same $license_option - what could be
the culprit?  I'm kinda guessing it's DLM since I have a local DLM installed on
my client - but / so - which version should I be using?

Is there a separate install package for DLM - because 10.03 is only bundled
with Sentinel - and there ain't no way we'll be using that for the forseeable
future....?

Regards,
Knut

The DLLs for the DLM client should be in the bin folder of your Uniface installation.

What did you specify in $license_options? Do you use a license file or a license server? In any case you need to make sure that the client can either access the license file or server. Is (e.g.) a firewall maybe blocking the request to the server? When you use $oprint=64 or /pri=64 then you should get some additional info from DLM in the log file.

I hope this helps.

Daniel

Uniface 10.3 can still work with DLM licensing, although the default Licensing system is Sentinel.
