Hi. We are analyzing the migration from 9.7.4 to 10.03.01 and we have some questions:
Can we use SOLID as a repository?
There are No "FIELD templates"?
There are No Global updates?
Thank you

Hi.
parcaya said Hi.
We are analyzing the migration from 9.7.4 to 10.03.01 and we have some questions: 1. Can we use SOLID as a repository?
No, I'm afraid Solid is not supported anymore in version 10. The default database is now SQLite.
parcaya said 2. There are No "FIELD templates"?
Yes, there are. Slight change of name though: Templates are called Modeled in version 10.
For more info see for example:
Uniface Library > Migration to Uniface 10 > Pay Special Attention To ... > Migration of Field Templates And when you check the menu More Editors in the IDE then you'll find the Modeled Field Interface, Syntax and Layout.
parcaya said 3. There are No Global updates?
That's correct. At the moment the IDE does not have a Global Updates functionality.
Is there anything in particular you are missing (right now)?
If there's sufficient demand/feedback from the users then the missing functionality of course could be added in later versions or patches.
If these are not your questions please repeat the questions.

Peter
