Hello,

We are trying to migrate our Uniface 9.7 application to Uniface 10.3.

  1. We have migrated the repository but unable migrate the logicals.
  2. Each time When we Open the Uniface 10 IDE or switch components in IDE, message frame displays error:
[ERR: LOGICAL_NOT_FOUND] Object not found. illegal or unknown object ID]
  3. The Resource Browser do not show Models and Tables, else show ERR: LOGICAL_NOT_FOUND

Can someone give us a short description on what to do to resolve it, and what things to check.

Thanks and regards
Hitesh

Hello,

All the logicals the IDE needs are defined in default ASN-file ide.asn that is located in {Uniface 10.3 installation}\\uniface\\adm.

In case you are using your own ASN-file for the IDE then it might be an idea to include the ide.asn using #file. E.g. add this to the top of the ASN-file you are using with the IDE:

#file usysuniface:adm\\ide.asn

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Did you close and reopen the Project Editor after updating the ASN-file and restarting the IDE?

And which exact version and patch level are you using. It seems to me that you are on an older patch level of Uniface 10.

I hope this helps.
