I installed uniface 10.3.02, and there are no components under the install directory or UserData directory.  When we installed 9.6.01 there where 25 APSs, 626 FRMs, & 330 SVCs.  The installed ASNs and INIs to have references to startup shells (APSs).

Is it correct that there are no components and, if not, how do I get them?

Hi Fred,

U10 is not anymore supporting "classic deployment" but only "standard deployment".
In "standard deployment" components are collected within UAR files, in a predefined directory structure; those archives are using ZIP file format.

Gianni

In addition to Gianni's answer: you'll find Uniface's proprietary forms, services etc in archives in install_dir/common/usys.

The target location of your own compiled objects is determined by the $resources_output setting in your development asn file. The target is either a folder or a Uniface archive (.uar file)
