I am new to Uniface 10.  I don't see any forms in IDE. When I check the repository from the backend (Oracle), I see entries in OUFORM but there is no record in UFORM. How can I correct this so I make changes to some forms? Thanks.

OUFORM is the overflow table, and it should not be possible for there to be records in there without matching records in UFORM.

Which sounds like something has deleted/corrupted the UFORM table. I am not 100% on Oracle, but is it possible you need better/more permissions to see the contents of UFORM ?

Iain

Hi Anthony,

I know my questions are silly but nevertheless Uniface 10 is working in the correct environment.

1) Could it be you are starting Uniface 10 IDE against a Uniface 9 repository?
2) Could it be the Oracle account used to host Uniface repository has limitations?

Hope it helps.

Gianni

Thank you for your replies. I found out that it was an installation not a normal migration. The source in the installation had the record counts in UFORM and OUFORM.

The repository is in a UAR file. The application works. Can I fix the repository in Oracle by just exporting and importing the repository? Or there is something else I need to do?

Thanks,

Anthony
