Hi.

A very strange problem.  We are getting an error of ORA-03114 not connected to oracle after commit, while read and write passed without any error. Even more interesting - the commit did succeeded! The change is well shown on another sesiion...

So I thought the problem is with the ORA driver. the system runs Uniface 9705 on Windows 2019 server with Oracle 12c. We used ORA 7.0  driver and then I saw the correct one should be 7.3. unfortunately, changing the driver setting didn't solve the problem :(

Any ideas?

It is probably better to open an Uniface support case for this.

ORA-03114; Not Connected to Oracle 
The ORA-03114 can occur because of a number of different problems. 
Check logging to see if anything else seems out of order.
Common causes for the ORA-03114 error include Network issues.

One suggestion is to ask your DBA to adjust the Oracle timeout parms (SQLNET.SEND_TIMEOUT and SQLNET.RECV_TIMEOUT)
