New Feature(s)
- Uniface UX has been enhanced with a new field-level widget: ux-Listbox.
If you're not using the edist installer, updates to the usys.ini and web.ini are required to include the widget definition. For more details, please refer to the documentation.
- UX Widget Interface is updated introducing a new property structure that simplifies the implementation of complex widgets.
As a result the UX Widget Interface has been updated to version 2, Each UX widget's physical widget definition includes an additional property: uxInterfaceVersion=2 in the widget configuration file (web.ini). To ensure a smooth transition, a compatibility utility is available to automatically convert the new structure back to the original format, enabling gradual updates to your existing custom widgets. If you're not using the edist installer, please make sure to update the web.ini file. For more information, refer to the Uniface documentation.
- UX Widgets enhanced with IncludeScript support
UX widgets now support the IncludeScript property, enabling the inclusion of widget-specific code fragments directly in the physical widget definitions. This enhancement improves code organization, promotes consistency, and simplifies long-term maintenance. To use this feature, add the IncludeScript property to the physical widget definition in the web.ini configuration file. Please refer to the Uniface documentation for more information.
