  • The RMS server package for Windows and Linux has been updated to RMS version 10.2.0.94.

  • The Sentinel Revoke tool, available for Windows and Linux, has been updated to version 10.2 for improved security.
The functionality of the Revoke tool remains the same.

Fixes

UNI-31961   For cloud leased licenses, the license file keeps growing in size.

UNI-31961  -  For cloud leased licenses, the license file keeps growing in size.

Solution available in patch(es):      241231

Description:

With Sentinel versions prior to 10.1 the license file can grow because feature lines are added one at a time with every lease renewal, and older lines for the same feature are removed. The end result should have the same number of lines, but sometimes deleting a line fails. So the end result can in fact have multiple lines for some features in it. This repeats after every renewal period, so in effect the license file grows.

Environment:

+Uniface: Version 10.3 and 10.4
+Operating System: OS independent
+Database: DBMS independent
+License Product: Sentinel

Workaround:

Remove the license file once in a while and start Uniface.
Uniface will then initiate downloading the license file again, and it will only have one line per feature this time. After a while it will have grown again, so this must be repeated.

Notes:

This problem is solved.
