UNI-42946  -  Sentinel RMS License Manager install script does not support Cloud license installation on Red Hat Linux 9.4 and above.

Solution available in patch(es):      250416

Description:

When attempting to install the RMS License Manager with a Cloud license on Red Hat version 9.4 and above, the installation script displays the message: "Getting licenses from the Cloud is only supported on Windows, RedHat, SUSE and Debian." To proceed with the installation, user must use a local license file or code instead.

+ Platforms: Unix and Linux
+ Databases: ALL

Workaround:

None.

This issue has been fixed.

UNI-38586  -  An incorrect parameter was reported when attempting to use the -installonly parameter for a silent installation of the Sentinel RMS License Manager on Linux.

Description:

When using the -installonly parameter during a silent installation of the Sentinel RMS License Manager on Unix and Linux, an incorrect parameter will be reported, causing the silent installation to fail.

Environment:

+ Uniface version: 10.4
+ Platforms: Unix and Linux
+ Databases: ALL

Workaround:

None.

Notes:

This issue has been resolved. As part of the fix, the RMS License Manager default installation directory on Unix and Linux has been changed from the current directory to /var/opt/sentinel when installation directory is not specified.
