Hi,
Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but thought I'd give it a bash. We have an application written in Uniface that we run via Citrix from 3 load balanced servers.
The users change the session settings such as the format of the GUI screens and in the previous version were able to make those persist by clicking the following....

In the new application this is not saving the users preferences and we are not able to find where the issue is.
Anyone know where this would try and save the user preferences to? Local machine? Server?
Uniface 10.3.02 is the version.
The application vendor has not been able to assist to date :(
Any info gratefully received

Here is some information on the subject
setup
I tested it, and the .ini saves immediately when one clicks okay.
If the .ini is set to read only, I get an error message 'cant change profile'

In addition to Osman's answer, depending on settings, there may also be registry settings for screen layout in the user's local profile.
I can remember where exactly and it may have changed between 9 and 10... help says somewhere around HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Uniface\\Uniface Version\\AppName
