Search function in online help broken?

The search (specific and AI) functions on the docs webpage appears to be broken, no results are returned even when very specific request are made, and the Uniface product is explicitly selected. 

  1. Any idea when it’s coming back?
  2. Is there any locally installed resource a programmer can fall back on when the web is busted?

Hi Iain,

It did have an outage however is back. 

The local CHM file can be found in your install dir e.g. C:\Program Files\Uniface\Uniface 10 10.4.03\uniface\doc\ulibrary.chm

Hi Jason

 

For me too, since 1 week, I do not get the documentation working like it used to.

It seems to ignore the preferences to only search in uniface and gives back results for all rocket products.

 

Also, my original like https://docs.rocketsoftware.com/search?bundle=uniface_104 does not work anymore either

 

I am forced to use the 10.4.03 url here

Hi Jason, 

I’m afraid it’s still broken. Here’s the result of focussing on ‘forentity’ in the ide and pressing F1. 

 

Here is the result of then clicking ‘library’ and then searching for forentity. 
 

Documentation never shows, only PDFs. If you use the ‘products’ dropdown to filter for uniface (all versions) all you get is the migration guide and the concepts v9.7. 
My IDE version is 10.4.03.026 (026 1002_2)!--startfragment>
