Hi all,
In Uniface tree widget has the classic vertical representation but in different circumstances it would be more understandable with a horizontal representation of the nodes of the same level as in this example:

Many thanks

Hi Luigi
Is this a question or a proposition to UnifAce? 🙂
If it is a question: Nope, UnifAce can only plot a vertcal, explorer like tree.
If it is a wish:
There are so many wishes on the heap, I don't believe UnifAce will do anything in this direction
The answer from UnifAce will be: "Use the HTML-widget and create such tree on your own"
Im working with UnifAce for over twenty years and thought UnifAce will help us to make programs that satisfy the wishes of our custumers. In the beginning, this was true but in the last years UnifAce relegate surface issues to other tools. 😔

So Uniface is acting like that guy who says to a dear friend:
'If you need something, buy it' ( in italiano : 'Se ti serve qualcosa compratelo')

Hello
for the people who has to work with data in trees
I had to develop an application with trees for soap production, the problem was to access any level and to be able to go up or down easily
Finding this https://sqlpro.developpez.com/cours/arborescence/
I just wrote a recursive form following this description and created a linear table of the tree.Once this is done
all accesses can be done from every level in any direction as sequential read
