The messages headers :
X-Mailer, Compuware UNIFACE 7.2.05, 1.1
MIME Version : 1.0
Content-Type : text/plain ; charset="us-ascii"
1 / Why Uniface 7205... ? We are on Uniface 7206 .. ! is there a special library Upopmail for Uniface 7206 ?
2 Perhaps the patch Uniface not installed on our Virtual Machine ?

Hi Jerome,
the UPOPMAIL.DLL is just a wrapper for MAPI (afaik).
So it is not strictly bound to uniface versions.
It is said you can even use newer upopmail dlls (V8, V9 ??) with older uniface versions.
Success, Uli

Hi Uli,
I use upopmail.dll with Uniface 7206.
Is there new versions for that dll ? They work like upopmail.dll ? with the sendmail operation ?
Is there somewhere I can find them ?
Thanks for your help !

Hi Jerome,
After all the bad news that established players could not attend (Ballak, Adler, ...),
it was a a good experience to see all the forewarders who haven't made a goal during their league games striked.
The 9.4 upopmail.dll can be found at C:\\USYS9401\\common\\bin\\upop.dll
The description is hidden in the ulibrary.chm but most of the signatures have not changed (I was told).
Hope we all have a pleasant WorldCup viewing,
Uli

Hi Jerome,
please see UPOP.dll just as an external DLL similar to KERNEL32.dll.
This piece of software is NOT connected to any uniface version.
All you need is to specify the signatures of the dll (this goes in 7.2.06 as well).
Perhaps someone in the community can give you some hints how to do it.
SUccess, Uli
P.S: after I have seen maradonna on the sideline and messi on the turf: a big event from both of them.

Hi All Did the problem with accents ever get solved in uniface 7206. It seems gmail is clever enough to translate a mail sent by Upopmail to UTF-8, but outlook keeps it as US-ASCII. Thanks Osie

We would not have resolved this in Uniface 7.6.06, it's been out of support for a very long time.

Sorry... the question was more aimed at if anybody had found a workaround to get it to work.
