Maybe a little bit different:

you can define an addional menu APP_TITLE in your library or in usys-library with language USA.

This menu can set $apptitle to what you want

So can set different logical in your asn-File like environment, like project, like user, like version etc.

Disadvantage is that you have to execute the menu manually

Advantage is that you don't have to use the modified aps and to take care for uniface patches

P.S. don't forget to compile the menue and build a dol-file or uar-file.

Hate to spoil the party: In the replacement IDF.aps (that Daniel suggests) the apptitel reverts to standard "Uniface Nine" text after having test-run a component from UDE. Otherwise great feature (that I am using anyway)!

Hi Daniel, We are using this nice feature since we have a development environment for each developer. Why not put it into the product rather then spending time (your time + X * time for each customer) "hacking" Uniface at each release/subrelease? Regards Jean-Luc
