Undocumented function $function

Hello, I have just discovered undocumented and well hidden function... $function. Does any one know something about it? I known, that it is undocumented, proc code editor (in IDF) does not highlight it, it accepts up to 5 parameters. The first parameter is a topic, the second one is data... others are unknown. The only working topic I know is "undogold", which replaces the gold characters by the ordinary one (that is gold; is replaced by ;). This seems to be quite useful (hidden) feature... I wonder, if anyone could provide another working topics for this function...? Neither "gold" nor "dogold" works. Tested in Uniface 9.6.04.02 (X401C 0305_1) W71. ZdenÄ›k

Hi Zdenek, This was created for internal use a long time ago. It is not something that we are developing any further, it will not be part of Proc language. Please don't use this in a production system because it could stop working in any future release and you will get no support on it whatsoever. Regards, Theo Neeskens
