Hi 

After installation of Uniface CE (includes patch 044) your license activation window disappear and you see below logs:

ERROR: The License Activation Utility failed, could not obtain a license.
Fatal error: 8011 - License not available.

  or

Sentinel errorcode is 210018

P.S You can use "/who" command to check your patch level. 

Please see below as example output: 

 UNIFACE 10.3.02
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Executable = C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Uniface 10 Community Edition\\common\\bin\\ide.exe
Application = Development Environment
Release update = 10.3.02.044 (044 1108_1) - November 08, 2020
Patch = 044
Platform: Operating system = MSW: Windows 10 (W10)

We are working on the solve this issue with our developers.

But, I can suggest you to use a workaround and activate your Uniface CE.

  • Open “Command Prompt” “Run as administrator” in your Windows 10.
  • Go to “C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Uniface 10 Community Edition\\common\\bin” directory via below code: 
    cd C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Uniface 10 Community Edition\\common\\bin
  • And try to activate with below code:
    ulic "/adm=C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Uniface 10 Community Edition\\uniface\\adm" /act "<Your Entitlement ID>"

Please don’t forget to replace your Entitlement ID with “<Your Entitlement ID>” part.

It will open Uniface Activation Utility, you need to click “Activate and Continue” button.
