Uniface 10 - platforms being discontinued

With the September release of Uniface 10 containing a migration path from Uniface 9.6 and Uniface 9.7, this release includes platform coverage for all of the platforms we intend to support. (others could be added in the future, for example the Cloud platforms outlined in our Statement of Direction) There are a number of platforms which will be discontinued, and will not be ported to Uniface 10.  The platforms being discontinued are: HP OpenVMS HP-UX Unix IBM iSeries (AS/400) Windows 32-bit Server deployment Windows CE Client  These platforms will remain supported in Uniface 9 while the releases are supported (see The Uniface Support Lifecycle for details).  A letter was sent to customers outlining out intention to discontinue support for these platforms in July 2016. A copy of this letter is available for download.

As an update to this, we have decided to make Uniface 10 available for deployment on the iSeries (AS/400) platform.  Planning on availability is TBD, either Uniface 10.3 or 10.4.  We are not planning to reintroduce other platforms that where originally on the discontinue list. We are not planning to update/resend the letter sent to customers and referenced above.
