Hi,
We work with tomcat 8 and uniface 9.7.5.
One of our customers did a security audit and returned a high security issue to us with version 8 of Tomcat.
This security audit advises us to use Tomcat 10. But this version of Tomcat migrates all classes using javax.* to jakarta.*.
The wrd.jar uses the javax.* class.
Is there a wrd.jar version compatible with TOMCAT 10 and the new class jakarta ?
Thanks.
Gilles.

Tomcat provides a migration tool which seems to work.
But in case we use this modified wrd.jar.
Is your support still assured?

In case the reported problem applies to a supported Uniface version then the answer is Yes. One of my colleagues has tested the mentioned migration tool with the wrd.jar of Uniface 10.4.02 and he apparently did not find any problems. Uniface 9.7, however, is not supported anymore for quite some time. For details see the
Uniface Support Lifecycle that has been published here in the Rocket Uniface Forum.
And the lab is currently verifying Tomcat 10.1 (that uses Java 11) and if everything goes according to plan then support will be added to an upcoming patch for Uniface 10.3.03 and 10.4.02 shortly.
I hope this clarifies this matter.
