Today we have tweaked uniface.info to help with usability.

  • Community → Forums has been changed to Questions 
    When updating uniface.info to the new site we tried to keep it as familiar as possible however it is not a natural fit
  • The default tab when selecting "Community → Questions" is now questions rather than Topics
    Topics are tags that can be added to Questions to allow filtering and we are being told by the community that it is the questions they are more interested in.

We are also currently looking into the email reporting of Questions and their feedback.


When starting to type a question you will be presented with a list of existing items. If your question has not been asked before you are able either hit enter or click the ASK QUESTION button. 


Topics are a way of filtering the questions. If you select the Topics sheet you will be able to filter the questions by the Topics that have been added to the Questions.

Few remarks/questions about the new site after few weeks of usage:
1) Is the whole knowledge base of old uniface.info site completely gone with this new site? Whatever I try I am redirected to the community site but value in question/answers of old site was big and important; it is a pity to have lost everything.
2) On the main community page "Highlighted topics" are shown but I am NOT seeing questions issued this week. This is happening being disconnected or connected as recognized user. I had already asked for same issue to be solved when connected few weeks ago on the old uniface.info site. Is the issue back again?
3) Everything is now a Question, OK... Chosing "Questions" under the BlueToGreen top bar I am presented with three possible options: "Common", "Latest", "Without any answer".
I would expect:
- Common = questions with more replies during last period (1 month?), ordered from more replies to less replies
- Latest = questions just opened, ordered younger to older
- Without any answer = with no replies, ordered younger to older
In first 2 cases I get list a bit more casual, it could be I cannot understand what's the organization of the page is...Just "without any answer" section seems to work properly. I would prefer to be positioned into section "Latest" by default but I did not find a way to do it.
Could you please clarify if my expectations are wrong or at least how should effectively work this new site?
