Uniface®

Hello, I'm Anna Lisa and I need some help understanding how $SOAP_CALLIN_CB works. Basically I have this problem: I have a web service in which I have implemented the SOAP_CALLIN_PRE and SOAP_CALLIN_POST and I have indicated in the appropriate asn the string $SOAP_CALLIN_CB = my web service. The result is that all the other web services also call the SOAP_CALLIN_PRE and SOAP_CALLIN_POST. How is it possible? After the Migration to Uniface 10.3, In application there's a form in which when I switch to the last tab, it freezes and I am unable to switch to any of the tab, sometimes it works upon clicking into the tab. I had tried to debug the code, and once added a code when the tab gets focus, it prompts to a field inside.trigger getfocus $prompt = <fieldname> end But the above code didn't work. I'm trying to import a WSDL signature for the first time since upgrading. I am trying to start a userver from a command line. userver.asn entry MAINTS = "userver.exe" /su /dir="<folder>" /asn=<asn> /maxidle=20s MAINT_TASKS.aps​ MAINT_TASKS.aps apstart trigger (APS shell type APU) lfiledump/text $datim,"last_maint.txt" activate/stateless "sys_maint_tasks".op_send_data()​ Command Line userver /ust=MAINTS /dnp="localhost+13303||" This seems to start a userver of the correct UST, and pickup the timeout value (20s), but I don't see the text file, nor any evidence of the maint_tasks being run. We have had a customer request to add a messaging feature for all logged-in users in our Uniface application - so an admin can, for example, ask everyone to log off, or something.I have implemented this by using a background service and the UTIMER functionality - this polls a database table every 10 minutes for any messages with the correct time stamp - does mean that users might not get the message at the same time.Is there a "simple" mechanism for "pushing" a message to all logged-in users in a client-server environment? Hi all,USYSIDX is a strange form....I've replaced the form with my own in order to do a 'programatic' reconnect to a database if /when the current connection is lost.The open statement works fine from within usysidx - I get reconnected to the databaseand can retrieve data (again).But - I end up in a loop - back into the 'new' form from the UF kernel.Is there a specific $ variable I need set or split the content of the login across some appropriately named fields so UF can go'n get the values??Regards,Knut------------------------------Knut Dybendahl------------------------------

#uniface-10I am trying to dim and resurrect a field in a DSP in response to user actions. I was trying $fieldproperties(field)="html:disabled"  (which I thought is what the help pointed to) without success. I can dim the field with $fieldsyntax(field)="DIM" which successfully sets the disabled attribute. However, neither $fieldsyntax(field)="" nor $fieldsyntaxt(field)="YED,YPR" nor $fieldproperties(field)="!html:disabled" seem to do the trick for allowing entry again. What is the trick to remove the disabled attribute? I have a number of users all using the same icon to access our application and the 'user toolbar' is switched on. I have a panel button that runs the message frame. If there's been an issue with our system, I would like to add a button to this screen to say 'copy to clipboard' or something similar, or even a mailto:  button that does the copy and then pastes it into an email - is this possible or is there a better way?
