Hi,I am new to uniface tech. I came across a performance issue in a uniface screen which has Select All button which when clicked by user it will color all the records with grey color to indicate they are selected (just like excel) but it takes more that 5mins to color all the records (10,000 records) with each record having 12 fields. Hello guys,XMLTRANSFORM, an operation of component USYSXSLT (Uniface component that provides services for transforming XML streams at runtime using XSLT stylesheets) does not return any status after the transformation is done. It returns an empty value/null instead of a negative one or 0 and the transformation is not done. Have you ever faced that issue? We did an upgrade from Windows Server 2012 to 2019(on the Citrix) but we are not sure if this has caused the issue. Thanks in advance for any help.Dominik

I am looking to find the equivalent of 'detach from template' in UV10. I can't seem to remove the inherited from component, or change the inherited status. I suspect that if I could, I'd have to copy/change all the code from the template as well. Is there an option somewhere which duplicates the old function? Sometimes I want to use the template as a starting block but then change out some stuff. (Like removing panels and menus, rather than replacing them). 

We have imported forms into Uniface 10.3 from Uniface 9.7 and they are not listed under a project. When we create new forms or modify existing forms (or other objects) do they have to be under a project? How does having forms under a project influence how they are compiled, deployed and run?

Uniface 10 gives different result by putting date in string field$string$ = "%%$string$%%%3;"    $string$ = "%%$string$%%RCO_DT_BOEKING.REKCOUR%%%;"In uniface 9.7  on Windows server 2012 this results that $string$ is filled with  "3;15-03-2021;"In uniface  10.3 on Windows server 2016 this results that $string$ is filled with  "3;15-mar-2021;"The date format now gives an issue in the following process since the string has an fixed length.The windows lanquage and date/time setting are checked on both servers and set the same. the field RCO_DT_BOEKING.REKCOUR has as display format DIS(dd-mm-jjjj)

I've tried gold-M, no help. I can't find the warnings anywhere I look. Seems cruel to tell me they exist but not show me what they are... inquiring minds want to know. Iain

We have a lot of uniface objects in source control that were created before uniface 9.7.  How would we convert these so we can import them into Uniface 10.3 for development once we have upgrade to 10.3? Otherwise we are thinking of keeping a machine installed with uniface 9.7 so we can import them into this environment and then export them into uniface 10.3.

There is an upcoming new release of Uniface 10.4.01.In this blog we will look at what this means for migrating your Development Environment's (IDE) Repository. Upgrading to a minor version gives the Uniface Lab the opportunity to change the physical table definitions. We changed some fixed-length fields of the Repository's entity definitions to support future enhancements to the IDE.To take advantage of these future IDE enhancements, you have to recreate your database table definitions. We are looking to migrate from Sybase to MSS. At the moment we connect to Sybase with Sybase connect and a username password in the asn.I believe it is more difficult with MSS. You need an ODBC driver and need to add some information stored on your client in the ODBC Data Store manager.This is no problem for 1 or 2 databases. But we have around 25 databases in development, 30 in test and around 15 in acceptance environment...Does anyone have a good suggestion how to handle this? urouter? Or?
