Changeman ZMF new version available ?

Hi Dirk,

Apologies that you have already started with 8.3 Patch 1 (8.3.1) before you realized we were close to releasing 8.3 Patch 2 (8.3.2). We do about 2-3 webinars annually and we also had a ChangeMan ZMF VUG (Virtual User Group) this past November. I have made announcements around progress and timeframe for the 8.3.2 release (Q1 2026) for about a year). Do you attend or receive any invites regarding webinars or the VUG (which was delivered over a 3 week period in November)? If not, please let me know as these webinars (and the VUG) is one of the best ways to receive updates around planned releases and when they can be expected to be available. I cover this each time. 

We officially released ChangeMan ZMF on February 13. I usually wait 2 weeks before I post in the forum of the new release. I do this because sometimes we have minor changes and/or updates and I like to wait a couple weeks to be sure we have no last minute changes. That said, I created a post in this forum about the availability of ChangeMan ZMF 8.3.2 a short time ago rather than wait until Friday.

As far as receiving email notification about the release, that hasn’t happened yet and that tends to go through a different process and likely will be another 2-4 weeks (those official announcements come from our Marketing Team). However, I suspect you aren’t receiving email notifications from us, since it sounds like you haven’t attended (due to not being aware) any of the webinars or the VUG we held last year, where updates about the pending release of 8.3.2 were delivered each time. Please do confirm if you have any emails regarding the VUG or the webinars we did (March and July for the webinars as well as the VUG in November). Let’s see if we can understand why you aren’t receiving email invites for these and get it corrected.

Thank you Jimmy for your answer. 

Since the change of your website (forum) it seems we are missing some information. Although I’m subscribed on the forum to topic Changeman ZMF.   We will check all our settings and see if any subscription is missing at our side. 
For me the ChangeMan ZMF VUG (Virtual User Group) is new.  If you can tell me on how to get informed on future dates , that would be helpfull.

Hi Dirk,

I have reached out to our marketing team to verify if they received any bounce backs for your email. As I mentioned, we sent emails out for last year’s webinars in Feb/March (webinar was in March) and again sent emails in June/July (webinar was in July). We also sent emails for the VUG in October (VUG was in November). Although we have been holding 2-3 webinars consistently the last 5 years, the VUG was new for us since Serena was first acquired by Micro Focus 10 years ago (and now part of Rocket Software). We also have the playback for all 3 sessions of the VUG in this forum. If you can’t find the links, please let me know. 

I do expect to have a webinar in the June/July timeframe and will post that here in the forum about 2-3 weeks before the webinar (the marketing team will handle email invitations). I am unsure when I will hold the next webinar (after the one in June/July), but the VUG will be in November (this will be our 2nd VUG) and I will post that sometime in October to invite customers, again, the marketing team will manage email invitations.
