    EDz (Enterprise Developer for z/Enterprise) includes z/OS started tasks MFA (Visual Studio/Eclipse) and z/Server (Eclipse only) allowing to directly interact with the mainframe.  This way, you can develop/maintain artefacts localized on the mainframe (using PDS, ChangeMan, Endevor or SCLM).

    ED (Enterprise Developer) does not include these components.
