Hi, I could not remove the deployment definition of one server because its already decommissioned.  The message I get when removing it is " Active deployments exist to ALDONCMS PHEQXU07.  Cannot delete."

Unfortunately, there are hundreds of active deployments to that server. Is there a way to delete the deployment definition without changing  to completion/finish status of each of the pending/active deployments?

Hi Allan,

To accomplish this use option '10' to Finish all deployment sets in the Work with Deployment Sets screen, then F13 to Repeat followed by <Enter>. All sets will be changed to non-active and you will then be able to remove the location you no longer require. The functionality is designed this way to prevent an accidental deletion of a location.

Thanks,

Hi Allan,

From the Work with Deployment Sets, use option '10' Close against the first set and then F13 Repeat. This action places a '10' against all sets, then press <Enter> confirm and <Enter> again to close them all (the status becomes inactive and the location can be removed). We have this functionality in place to avoid mistakenly deleting a location.

Thanks,
