I am trying to compute pointwise mutual information PMI RMP training using wikipedia as data source. Given two words, PMI defines the relation between two words. The formula is as below. pmi(word1,word2) = log [probability(number of times both words appears in a document together)/probability(word1)*probability(word2)]. Hence to compute PMI, I would need joint and individual probabilities of word1 and word2. I looked at the wikipedia miner relatedness score between two words. They are implementing a Milne and Witten algorithm. However, for defining topic similarities, PMI is a better score. Does any one know how to compute PMI score for two words using dbpedia or wikipedia miner or any other software.------------------------------navya srisoftware developerhkr trainings------------------------------

While the Rocket Forum was only launched officially in September 2020, it received nearly 10,000 visits from users who read more than 66,000 pages! Much of our success is due to members who are engaged in conversations on how to achieve specific outcomes using Rocket tools, or are part of beta programs to evaluate the latest product features. Both our partners and end users/clients seem to be getting a lot of value from the dialog and experiences offered on the site, and today I'm recognizing specific individuals for their participation. While their actions are helping them scale the Forum leaderboard, I'm certain they are also improving their skills and knowledge as they work to achieve success and help other members do the same.

Last month, I announced the first phase of a content migration from the old Rocket Software community, and the second phase would take place this month.Phase two initiated Wednesday afternoon and completed this morning. During phase two, approximately 45 posts and replies found new homes in this Forum. I started in MV January 8, 1982 after a major layoff at Novell. Prime Information at a Salt Lake City, Utah/Birmingham, Alabama based trucking company. I worked mostly with small-ish companies most of my career until I became the IT Manager for Kingsdown Mattress in Mebane, North Carolina in the early 90's. That was part of my involvement with bedding manufacturers, supporting software by one Paul Anderberg (a long-time friend and a co-worker at a couple employers pre-MV and during).Serta Mattress licensees were our biggest customers. Ask Rocket is a new series that gives Rocket customer a chance to ask questions directly to our Executive Leadership Team. The Team answers all questions posed, but once a quarter we select a few questions for the ELT team to answer and share publicly. Earlier this week, this quarter's answers were shared in the Ask Rocket Kickoff blog post. The ELT will answer another round of Ask Rocket questions again later this year. If you have a question for anyone on the Rocket leadership team, you can send it in by filling out this form.

Prior to the launch of this Forum, Rocket Software offered a small community to beta test a small number of products. Over time, that community became a lively discussion area for support of Rocket's efforts with open source languages and tools for IBM z/OS.
