I am retired IT person who programmed in PIopen, Universe, etc. for twenty years and am interested in doing some part time work. Can be free if for non profit. What are the possibilities?

So your question doesn't go unrecognized.  A couple ideas.
Of course I would invite you to check out our site https://www.rocketsoftware.com/rocket-jobs.  I am going to assume you have already checked that out.
One of the ways Rocket practices our core values is through community service.  I myself volunteer with an organization called Wildlife Action Inc.  I am not very good at websites but we do our best.  I applaud your willingness to look for ways to help out other non-profits as well and believe me they need it.
