Hello,

With UNIFACE 10.3..02.54 on Windows , I try to list all files/folder containt in a folder in a zip file with $ldirlist,

But if the folder name containt a dot, $ldirlist return always empty. [ex:  $ldirlist("D:\\TEMP\\GHO.zip:test.js","DIR") ] .

The foder have the "D" attributes and it's recognize like a folder by Windows and 7zip.

Someone have the same problem with a more recent version of UNIFACE ?

Thanks.

Gilles.

Hey Gils,

A "dot" in a folder name is allowed for standard .ZIP file processing.  What you are seeing may be a limitation of the Uniface (Procscript) function you are using.  There are some restrictions with "dot" characters in path components when using DIR option to $ldirlist.

I hope that this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.

It appears that you're facing a specific issue with the $ldirlist function in UNIFACE 10.3.02.54 on Windows when working with zip files containing folders with dots in their names. The behavior you described, where $ldirlist returns empty when encountering such folders, could potentially be a bug or compatibility issue. It's unfortunate that it's causing difficulties in listing files and folders correctly.

You are asking DIR information for a "file" test.js in the zip GHO.zip >> D:\\TEMP\\GHO.zip:test.js ?
Shouldn't it be the 'content' or directory information of the zip file only (without the test.js file) >> D:\\TEMP\\GHO.zip ?

D:\\TEMP\\GHO.zip:test.js >> requesting DIR information from a file test.js in the GHO.zip file

Maybe change to? D:\\TEMP\\GHO.zip >> requesting DIR information (or content) from GHO.zip file

Maybe if you ask for a file (as in "GHO.zip::zip.js - you need to use "FILE" instead of DIR since you are asking for (what we assume to be) as file named test.js.

Since we don't support UNIFACE or generic zip solutions, I can only lead you in the right direction. I hope that this helps.
