Hi everyone.

Like, I think, the majority of users of the forum, I'm receiving emails when something is posted on one of the forums of the Rocket's product I use (in my case, Uniface).

Lately, on this particular thread (General Discussion & Announcements) it seems that there are a lot of posts seeking for support on particular technologies (Cobol, Red Hat, ChangeMan ZMF (?), etc.) that I think doen't belong in this part of the forum :

"For topics unrelated to a Rocket product, such as general news, questions about the forum itself, etc."

Is it because there are not forums for those technologies ? Or maybe there are no moderators to move topics in the right place ?

Anyway, and all my apologies if I might look annoying, but opening lots of mail that doesn't concern me is a bit time wasting, and I think maybe other thinks like me.

No offense to anyone who posted problem here :-)

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, I appreciate it!

It is a great observation! We want to have as many members come on the Forum and freely ask questions about our products. Although, we can certainly do a better job at redirecting folks to their dedicated product sub-forums.

I will work on a solution to redirect people to post product-related questions on their respective sub-forums. In the meantime, will set the forum to full moderation, to let through questions that are appropriate here.
