Request to update gzip package to 1.14+ in zoss-appdev channel

Hello Rocket Software Community / zoss-appdev Maintainers,

I am currently utilizing the gzip utility from the zoss-appdev conda channel on z/OS. I noticed that the current version hosted on the channel is 1.13, which hasn't been updated in quite some time, whereas standard channels like conda-forge have moved forward to 1.14 and beyond.

Could the development team look into updating the gzip feedstock for z/OS to version 1.14 or the latest stable upstream version? We would highly appreciate having access to the latest bug fixes and improvements while maintaining compatibility with z/OS hardware features (like zEDC).
