Sentinel license utilisation

Yes. You can start WLMADMIN.EXE on any machine that has access to your license server RMS.

Hi Nico,

Thanks for your reply. I  added the host in "Defined Servers"  (I see other two option Subnet Servers and Standalone) as I want to see the status of Network license.

I get error [3]: Failed to resolve server host. 

But the sentinel license manager is installed in the server and the status is active running. The application and IDE is also working fine in the server.

Could you please share documentation or URL on how to add servers in WLMADMIN ? or any solution for errors.

Hi Satheesh,

If your wlmadmin says that it failed to resolve server host, then your DNS is failing to reproduce it.

You could use the ip address of your license server.

Thanks for your response. I used IP address and the server name is recognized bywlmadmin. But it doesn't pull any other information. Also I get the below error :

Sentinel RMS Development Kit : Error [5]: Cannot talk to the license server on host : xx.xxx.xx.xx. Server not running. Though this is not Uniface related, I couldn't find any solution in the internet.

I have also gone through the link which you have shared. I already follow this for activation of license and configuration.
