We promoted a file last week and a few of the programs dependent to the file were not selected as a dependent object during promotion.  The missing dependent objects are defined in ACMS.

The objects are not in File  . . . : PRTDEP    Library . : ACMSCTL

I know there is a command to rebuild the  dependent objects file, just can't remember what the command is.  We ran it probably 10-15 years ago;

Anyone know what the command is?

Thanks,

Dave

To rebuild the dependency database, you can use option 12, 12, 9 then 2 to Scan the LMi release. You can then specify *ALL to specify all objects in the release or select specific objects in specified environments. You can also specify whether to scan objects that are already current or not (Re-scan if status is *CURRENT) *CURRENT means that the dependencies for the object is up to date.
