I am hoping someone can help with an AccutermIO query.
We are following the instructions.....
AccuTerm Release Information V8
and we are trying to create a profile. 2 Profiles already exist, thet were created prior to Rocket aquiring Zumasys.
When we create a profile we are not getting a check box display for the Role (admin/dev). We create the profile anyway, but when we launch Accuterm we get the error
No profiles have been created. Please login to Portal and create one.
Can anyone please advise on what we are doing wrong.
As an aside, the portal we are using is the Zumasys portal, https://zs-portal.rocketsoftware.com/accuterm, as this is where we were redirected.

Hi Richard,
You mention that you are using AccuTerm V8, can you verify that you are using 8.0 and not 8.1? 8.0 uses the portal, 8.1 does not, with 8.1 all users, roles and profiles are created on the system where Accuterm IO is installed.
Assuming 8.0, If you're not seeing the check boxes to select the role(s) for the profile you are creating, you should check to verify that you still have any roles created. If there are no roles, profile creation will not display check boxes because there are no roles to display.
When you are in the portal with the Profiles page displayed, there is a Roles button towards the upper right of the screen, Click on that, are there any roles defined? The migration from portal.zumasys.com to zs-portal.rocketsoftware.com was generally complete but I think the first thing to check is if you have any roles defined.

I noticed in the Accuterm Desktop App, About it says "It has been 30 days since the Accuterm license has been validated......"
We have a license key that we purchased when we bout a 50 user license for AT8. Do you need our device key?
I have now created the role (Test) and applied it the 3 user profiles. I thought I had done this previously but must have missed a step.
It looks like it is launching Accuterm on port 4380 as I am getting a 1 displayed in the broswer.

Accuterm desktop will check in with the Accuterm license server on a regular basis to validate the license as still being used. If it cannot validate for 30 days, the license is returned to the available license pool. You should be able to go to Help -> Activate and click activate which will revalidate the license. This should be an automatic process but can exceed 30 days if the system has not be used for that long or the system cannot communicate with the license server. I do not need to see your device key.
Check to make sure a browser on that system can see the 2 URLs used for validating,

As far a demo programs, Accuterm web functions the same way Accuterm desktop works so anything you run on desktop should function the same way in web. We have been working with people who run Accuterm GUI interfaces and we feel the Accuterm Web 8.1 GUI support is there for most of the GUI functions that are being used. If you install the Accuterm host programs you will find some demo programs in the DEMOBP file that you can run, I would start with DEMOMENU.
