I have installed MVIS 1.3.4 and was hoping I would not have to re-key the Subroutines and dynamic arrays.  The manual talks about this on page 37  under "Importing a U2 REST server".  However, it says to use the U2 RESTful Web Services Toolkit to export/import.  I do not have any idea where to find this toolkit?

  • MVIS admin does not have anything except Import/Export config (cm.ini)
  • U2 Web Services Developer Tool contains our SOAP services but not the MVIS subroutines/arrays.
  • There is a file that looks promising in C:\\U2\\CM\\u2rest names <ACCOUNT>.xml.  Is it as simple as copying that XML file from one server to the other?

What am I missing?

Hi Nelson,

It is as simple as copying the files in the u2rest folder.

The <ACCOUNT>.xml file contains your subroutine and dynamic array resources.
The <ACCOUNT>.json file contains your data file resources if you are using those.

Let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks Stuart.  copying the <account>.xml to the 1.3.4 server seems to have worked!
