Our challenge is to create a scheduled shutdown procedure that will support out of hours Windows Server Patching Shutdowns & Reboots.
Can MVX support this challenge or is there a best practice guide available.

Hello Darren,
MVX is a monitoring tool only for OS, database, and replication. It doesn't allow scheduled actions. The replication manual provides steps for a replication failover from one server to another for maintenance if this is what you seek. I suggest you call support to discuss your options.
