Does any member have any practical experience embedding a .NET control into SBXA Application. Something with a User Interface aspect like a rich text control, RIBBON control, chart etc?

I want to check that you have had a run through the example .NET controls that ship with SB/XA?
You will find them in the Extra folder of your installation media.
The following knowledge article walks through the SBXA Custom Control Example:
https://my.rocketsoftware.com/RocketCommunity/articles/Tech_Note/What-are-Custom-Controls-and-what-can-I-do-with-the-examples-shipped-with-SB-XA-1478607531986
Other examples are the Data Entry Custom Control and the Advanced Form Display.
These are described in the SBXA_6.x.x\\Extra\\SBXA Documentation.chm file.

After few years of R&D we implemented :
-autocomplete control in SBXA forms (monovalue field and multi-value field)
-ribbon controls (that handle values) and/or simple buttons
I join a screenshot as an example of what can be done.
It is not so easy to achieve it, but not impossible...
