Hi guys,

I have an issue on a customer site that is a Windows 2019 server running Unidata 8.2.1, the workstation is running Windows 11. This is an SB+ site so the users use SBClient (5.5.4). One PC that has been running fine for some time suddenly has a problem were the SBClient is launched, they click Start a Session, it connects to the server, connects to SB+, they enter their SB+ credentials and SBClient  then seems to go into "minimized mode" and will not open.

I have tried removing any scripts, deleting and re-creating the profile, re-installing SBClient and even tried installing version 6.5.6 but this problem persists.

the user assures me that nothing has changed on that PC.

Other users are working fine.

This user (with his credentials) works fine on a different PC.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before or has any idea what the issue may be?

Many thanks

Barry

One step could be to check the Terminal-Definition that is used for this user.

Specially the different on/Off Sequences.

Maybe Sbclient has remembered the window-State for a particular Sequence (e.g. Condensed on...)

Is the user running character or Gui MOde?

Greetings

Thomas

Additionally to the Tip from Manu, you can try to go to press one of the cursor-keys wen in move mode with this the Window is "pinned" to the mouse cursor and you can move it by moving your mouse....

Thanks Thomas and Manu for your suggestions.

I managed to get this working although more by luck than anything.
